The Womens F1 uses a boa closure on the lower shell for a snug and accurate fit on the forefoot. The upper cuff uses a velcro buckle plus velcro cuff strap for convenient and fast adjustment. This combined closure system allows you to tailor your fit for max comfort - for both uphill and downhill skiing. Paired with the famous (for good reason) Intuition Pro Flex Evo liner, the F1 can be tailored into small, perfectly-fit sanctuaries for your feet.
The F1 Women's touring boot varies from its masculine counterpart by having a shorter cuff and different forefoot shape to better accommodate female snow-shredding needs. This boot comes in a galaxy-esque Anthracite/Aqua - it looks rad and we at CCBC approve. The tongue flap on this boot helps with taking it on and off with ease. Past versions of the F1 (both male and female) had problems with the interaction of the tongue and shell, and this design change is aimed to remedy that issue. The added flap will make stepping into the boot far easier and improve overall boot durability. It's great to see Scarpa slowly improving an already great light touring boot.
All in all, the F1 Women's touring boot is a comfortable, high-performance option for backcountry skiing. Make your feet happy, which makes you happy and skiing with more smiles by grabbing a pair of F1 Women's boots.
